A holiday in Ibiza is not only about partying, clubbing and relaxing at the beach. You will discover many more things to do when you move around exploring the town and the resorts.

There are three major towns in Ibiza. The Ibiza city, capital of the island, was the only big place which could be called a town. It is surrounded by walls on all sides and is accessible only by foot because the roads are narrow. The streets are full of bars and restaurant which is full of people.

San Antonio is the second largest town in Ibiza. It has many good restaurants and during the peak season you can find people partying and clubbing as there are some well known pubs here. You can also find beautiful, sandy beaches here.

Santa Eularia, lying 15 km from the Ibiza city, is supposed to be the richest town of the island. The only river of the Balearic Island is in this town. There is a church here which is one of the best examples of the local architecture. Another interesting thing is the ‘Restaurant Street’ here which has some really good restaurants.

There are some comely places to stay in and around the town of Ibiza. These resorts are located in and around the town and provide many options to spend time like shopping, sightseeing and visiting the various places of interest. There are some beautiful resorts famous for their beaches buzzing with activities and some good restaurants. Talamanca bay is among the most visited resort and is home to some with good restaurants. Figueretas also has many café, bars and restaurants. Playa d’en Bossa is popular for its location near to the water park and also clubs Bora Bora and Space. San Antonio bay has many small beaches scattered around and ideal for families. Cala Llonga, Santa Eulalia, Es Cana, Portinatx, Cala Vadella to name a few.

When you have had enough of sunbathing you can move around in the Ibiza Express which takes you to all the attractions in the northern coastline and countryside. At every point the island is buzzing with activity – a really rejuvenating vacation!
