About Duquesa Playa

Situated in the Centre of the cosmopolitan town of Santa Eulalia this modern apartment building is open all year and is bang in the middle of this individual town.

The Duquesa  Apartments are conveniently situated in the heart of Santa Eulalia del Rio, (Rio – is Spanish for river) only a short walk to the long sandy beach and the pretty tree lined promenade which goes right around the bay and up  to the river of the only river in the Balearic Islands. Shops, numerous bars and restaurants are all just steps away from the Duquesa.

The well appointed modern Duquesa apartments consists of  32   1 or 2 double bedroom apartments, with full bathroom (the 2 bedroom apartments have 2 bathrooms) fully fitted kitchen, lounge, hot and cold air conditioning, telephone, Sat TV , safety deposit box and a terrace or balcony.

On the top floor of the building is a swimming pool with sun terrace and sunloungers and a bar serving snacks and cool drinks, with beautiful views across the sea and the mountains surrounding Santa Eulalia.

Santa Eulalia del Rio, is on the East Coast of the Island and is a good location from which to explore  all the Island has to offer.  Santa Eulalia is popular with the more mature holidaymakers – as there isn’t a nightclub in the town (there are a couple of late night music bars located in the port area).  But it has much to offer in other ways the white washed church on the hill of Santa Eulalia has a small museum and is a lovely place to look down on this pretty town.  The famous ‘hippy market’ is only 3km away (reached by a good bus service or ferry in the port). Ferry’s are operating all day everyday during the summer months, to places like:  Ibiza, Es Cana, Formentera etc. The Island’s nightclubs are reached by means of taxi’s or the disco bus operating throughout the night.   The port in Santa Eulalia is full of boats and yachts of all sizes  - a lovely place to meander  and see how ‘the other half live’!  Santa Eulalia  a more relaxing pace that still has something for everyone!

The Duquesa is a perfect place to stay for families, couples and  groups of friends.

    We have been coming here for some years now and we have always found it very nice. We love being in the center of the town and the personnel are very friendly and helpful. 2 minutes away from the beach.

    Very nice apart-hotel. Nicely decorated. It had everything we needed and we were just in the middle of the town. It has a roof pool and we were 3 minutes away from the beach and near to the Santa Eulalia harbour where you can find loads of nice little restaurants and enjoy a nice meal.
